Issue Invoices Automatically for BigCommerce Orders placed using Offline Payment Methods

If enabled, an Invoice will automatically be generated for B2B customers using offline payment methods when placing an order.

Offline payment methods are ways to pay for orders that do not require a credit card or a traditional payment gateway. These can be helpful alternatives to make payments attainable for shoppers. Unlike online payment methods, collecting payment is not immediate in these methods.

PO Payment methods are included in offline payment methods.

Offline Payment methods are configured inside BigCommerce via Store Set Up > Payments > Additional Payment Providers

If enabled, an Invoice will automatically be generated for B2B customers using online payment methods when placing an order. This is a less common use case as in most cases, the customer has already paid for the order when using an online payment method.

Set Default Payment Terms

These default terms will auto-generate on every invoice created. You can still edit the terms on an invoice-by-invoice basis if need be, but the default should be the most commonly used term period.

By clicking each box by a payment method, you can select or limit which online payment methods your customers can use when paying for Invoices. Offline payment methods cannot be used to pay for Invoices.
